Lash extensions need to be filled every 2-3 weeks. Why?
Your eyelashes grow in a different, much quicker cycle than any other hair on your body. Did you know that lashes have three growing phases? Yep! When it’s time for a fill, some of your lashes will be at the end of the third phase: telogen. This is when they shed and make way for a new hair, completing the cycle and bringing us back to the first growth phase: anagen. Due to this shedding, new lash extensions need to be applied to the fresh growth.
For the eyelashes that grew but didn’t shed, in the catagen phase, they may also need to be removed and replaced with new extensions.
